Our story
From Khan Younis to Cairo
Abdulbari Tourism, Travel, Hajj and Umrah Company was founded in 1960 in Khan Younis, in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, as a family business working in travel and related services. Its founder, the late Hajj Abdulbari Khalil Abdulbari (1930–2006), was one of the pioneers of serving Hajj and Umrah pilgrims in Palestine.
Throughout its long history the company has remained a family business in spirit and in practice. To us, a client is never just a request number, but a person who deserves an honest explanation and careful follow-up.
Today the company works from its headquarters in Khan Younis and its office on Naguib Mahfouz Street in Nasr City, Cairo, serving Palestinians in Egypt, in Palestine and around the world, and anyone looking for a travel service or paperwork handled by people they can trust.

Three generations serving the guests of Allah
The company has passed from one generation to the next, with one purpose throughout: to serve pilgrims and travellers honestly.
Founder
The late Hajj Abdulbari Khalil Abdulbari (1930–2006), founder of the company and a pioneer of serving pilgrims in Palestine.
General Manager
Hajj Fayez Abdulbari (Abu Mohammed), the founder’s son, and a member of the first founding council of the Association of Hajj and Umrah Company Owners in the Gaza Strip in 2006.
Chief Executive
Eng. Mohammed Fayez Abdulbari, the founder’s grandson, studied engineering in Malaysia and manages the company’s work outside the Gaza Strip, including the Cairo office, Umrah trips and airport coordination.

Among the founders of organised Hajj and Umrah work in Gaza
The Association of Hajj and Umrah Company Owners in the Gaza Strip was founded in 2006 to organise Hajj and Umrah affairs in the Strip together with the Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs. Hajj Fayez Abdulbari had the honour of serving on its first founding council as a board member.
In the 1447 AH Hajj season the association, with the Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf and the Palestinian Hajj and Umrah companies based in Egypt, looked after the season for Gaza pilgrims living outside Palestine. We are one of those companies.
